About
Cougar Esports launched in January 2022. Our program encompasses 3 primary focus areas:
- Competition – A commitment to our competitive teams. We currently have 50+ student athletes in 12 different titles against colleges from across the country. We are members of both the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and the National Junior College Athletics Association-Esports (NJCAAE).
- Community – Engaging the local community through access to our state of the art esports arena, support of local esports initiatives at high schools, community centers, and outreach to underserved groups with limited access to this new field.
- Academics – The first ever Esports Production AAS degree in South Jersey equips our students with the experience and skills needed to enter into the fields of event management, commentating, content creation, broadcasting, broadcast management, and streaming.
